Recruitment Policy

GISCO employs a transparent, non discriminatory recruitment policy aimed at employing potentially competent Staff and Workmen, who are looking for long term continuous employment.

Vacancies are advertised in local media in UAE and in country of origins. In certain cases, local and international recruitment agencies are also utilized following the view of credentials and trade test as required.

Referrals of competent staff and workmen are welcomed from existing staff and associates.

All CV’s received are reviewed by our HR Department. Those candidates that fit within the current vacancies who are qualified and have no legal constraints for employment are contacted via email / telephone and / or personal interviews.

Offer letters are given or sometimes preceded by tentative offers by emails as a first point of contact.

Visa processing is done once offer is accepted and legal requirements are satisfied. Probation Period is a maximum of 6 months as per the UAE Labour Law No. 8.

Visa processing and first joining ticket is provided to all new recruits including workmen tool in achieving business objectives. Therefore, HR functions, such as recruitment, training and development and performance appraisal and management form an integral part of the company's HR strategies.
